You may or may not be aware that I have a real passion for old family photos, but I do.
A while ago Teri came to me and asked if I wanted to have copies of Grandpa Ray pictures, and also some of his family. Of course I said yes. This led to a bit of obsessive questioning about who has what pictures, when can I get them, who are in all these pictures, etc.
Steve brought me three boxes of pictures, and I decided that there needed to be a way everyone could have access to all these pictures.
I have scanned these pictures with a pretty good resolution. If you would like to have a copy of it, right click on the picture, and just save it to your hard drive.
If you have information about who is in the picture, when or where it was taken, or just want to comment on it, please leave a comment.
I am so looking forward to seeing all your comments!
Love,
Mandi

Mandi, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dan Treanor. I am Brendan Treanor's brother. Brendan is married to Lea(Guffy) Treanor. Lea is Allen Guffy's daughter. Allen is Alvah T. Bridgeman's great great grandson. Whee! Well anyway, several years ago Allen gave me Alvah's personal pocket diary that he carried with him during the Civil War. I am a historian, musician and filmmaker. I don't know how much you know about Alvah's Civil War experiences, but suffice to say, they are the mettle of legend. Hollywood writers wish they could come up with his story. I am going to produce a docu-drama about Alvah and his story. Nothing has ever been done about the Civil War through the eyes of a musician. Alvah never fired a shot, but he was a true hero. I found your site and thought that you would be a great source of background information, photos, family stories, anything that could accurately tell Alvah's story. I have already found a great deal of information about his miliatry life. I plan on going to Springfield and Wisconsin this summer to do some filming and research. Let me assure you that this is not a scam. Alvah's story needs to be told and I intend to that. Any help you could provide would really be appreciated.
